Whenever award-winning director Nigel Dick travels he usually carries a camera or two with him. Somewhere around 2010 he decided to cut his travel footage together into short films and add some music, and soon after that the voice-overs and the hard travel information arrived. So far Dix Trips has shot in 18 countries on 4 continents and in 12 U.S. states. In April 2015 the series was awarded a Platinum REMI award at the Houston WorldFest International Film Festival.
